The transformation underway at the Ritz Carlton, Kapalua is informed by two main influences — the stirring island landscape of Maui, and the rich traditions and welcoming spirit of its people. The expanded lobby and bar will welcome visitors with Hawaiian-inspired design flourishes. The Terrace and Banyan Tree Restaurants will also be enriched, with fresh design elements, new furnishings, and private dining rooms, while the Beach House Restaurant further expands dining options close to home. Kai Restaurant will pay respect to the Asian influences in Hawaii's heritage, and the voluminous event spaces — adorned with custom-pattern Kapa wall patterns — will complete what amounts to an energizing renewal for the resort.
